Richard H. Price

Price has served his country throughout his life, with four years of service in the United States Marine Corps, and 21 years as an FBI Special Agent.

While serving with the FBI, Price handled complex criminal investigations in areas of violent crime/major offenders, fugitive apprehension, narcotics/gangs, organized crime, domestic terrorism, counterterrorism, and white collar crime. He served in a leadership role as the Cafeteria Team Leader in the Columbine High School incident in 1999. He has also played an investigative role in major cases including the Pentagon/Twin Towers bombings (09/11/2001), the Oklahoma City bombing (04/19/1995), the 1996 Summer Olympic Games in Atlanta, Georgia, and the 2002 Winter Olympic Games in Salt Lake City, Utah. Rich also served with FBI-Denver SWAT on the capture of the Texas Seven prison escapees in 2001. He has completed extensive coursework in law enforcement at multiple locations nationwide, and holds a Bachelor of Arts, Economics/Psychology from the University of New Mexico.

Price served with the State of New Mexico, New Mexico Corrections Department, Security Threat Intelligence Unit (STIU) as a Fugitive Enforcement Manager.

Price brings Soteria Group’s clients first hand experience as an FBI Case Agent on multiple cases, an FBI National Academy Coordinator, an FBI Principal Firearms Instructor, and Fugitive Coordinator and Training Coordinator. He served multiple roles on two SWAT teams, including 16 years of emergency medicine as a state and nationally certified Senior EMT-Basic/Tactical, Sniper Team Leader, Entry Team Leader (Breacher), Principal Firearms Instructor, Chemical Agent Deployment and Tactical Air Crew.

Price is a member of the FBI National Academy Associates, and of the Society of Former FBI Special Agents. He holds a certified professional designation in Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design (CPTED).
